Guess what?
A colleague of mine finally did a tattoo and it is GORGEOUS! We were just discussing about tattoos last week and already she got herself one beautiful tattoo on her back right shoulder. The handwork is very nice! *Thumbs up!*

She went for the classic btypical black and the design look like a exotic heart design attached in a gentle way with a cross. She told me it took few pain-bearable hours to complete the masterpiece.
Talk about PATIENCE!

Imagine wearing a bareback showing off the tattoo. Such glamour only those who appreciate tattoos can enjoy it!

Ta dah! This is one gorgeous symbol! Something worth showing off to people about the beauty of BODY ART and masterpiece of a tattoo.
Let’s talk about tattoo issues.
I realise that here in Malaysia, many tattoo fans and artist are still facing the ‘NO’ from those controversial and conservative people. Many would judge a person with tattoo from the first impression that he or she is a bad person or part of the uneducated society. Many would AVOID these people thinking “Oh no, this person will be a bad influence alright.”
Maybe they will even say directly, “You have a tattoo? You’re such a naughty person! I don’t want to mix with you!”
Allow me to debate:
POINT ONE
NEVER judge anyone from the first impression. Don’t have to talk about tattoo. Let’s talk about something else. Maybe just because a guy with a piercing on one side of the ear or a girl with funky punk hair style/colour doesn’t mean that they cannot be a great lawyer, doctor, police force, businessman, etc.
NEVER EVER JUDGE BY FIRST IMPRESSION. There are no such thing as “I see and I know you’re so and so.”
I’ve studied Mass Communications and graduated after 3 years and one of the may key points my dedicated lecturer and helpful books taught me was to never judge by first impression because OUTLOOK BEHAVIOUR and INNER CHARACTERISTICS can amazingly surprise you as it will defer according to locations and environment and human nature.
Let me give you one example. My brother has a gorgeous alien-like tattoo on his shoulder. Something like what the tattoo guy have on his shoulder (refer to picture above). Does that make him a useless brat who doesn’t listen to anyone in the world and take the gun and shoot anyone who go against him?
NO!
My brother is sweet as ever, takes good care of me and my mother, he doesn’t smoke, he even have a soft heart for his two dogs! I bought him some oscar fishes and he smile like a little child though he is actually my older brother.
So tell me, where is it that says my brother with a tattoo is a bad person? In fact, I have faith in his that he will be successful as a hairstylist in Australia! I’m supporting him all the way.
POINT TWO
Yes, I agree that tattoo, historically, was mainly used by prisoners, murderers, and all criminals in the world. Back then when tattoos was purely appreciated by these criminals, local and humble folks avoid these arts and see it as TABOO because anyone who has one on their body are considered as criminal.
But think properly people… THIS IS HISTORY. Welcome to the 21st century and get yourself in the latest updates.
TATTOOS ARE NOW CONSIDERED AS BODY ART.
No longer the accessories for criminals, tattoos are now widely appreciated as masterpiece on self body. Same as how women love to have gorgeous body, tattoo is already part of the accessories that will improvise one person’s body.
Believe me, tattoos also help in building self confidence in body image of a person!
It is an art that should be appreciated even if it is not on your body but on others.
So don’t judge just by looking a person’s appearance and behaviour. Don’t assume that tattoos are for bad people and for criminals. Get to know them first by talking to them then you will realise that your quick judgement can lead you to misunderstanding!

That tattoo is really nice! But I wont get myself one.
Girls who hv a tattoo on their lowerbacks are kinda… hawt. LOL! But when u’re old and ur body starts to hv wrinkles, the tattoo will make ur body looks kinda ugly I think…
That tattoo is certainly interesting… one of a kind. I prefer these to the more “factory” designs, if you know what I mean. I wouldn’t mind getting a tattoo myself, not cos I’m a rebel or for body art (very good argument for it, btw), but when there is some sea change in my life, then it would be a great commemoration of it.
Our bodies come and go anyway, we should take care of it and decorate it as windows to our selves.
I want to get one too, of course is monkey! haha…
[Kyh] : Hehe yeah that part is really gorgeous! But hey..getting old is part of life! We onyl live once so why worry rite? RITE!
[Kenny Mah] : Ooooo very nice Kenny! “Our bodies come and go anyway, we should take care of it and decorate it as windows to our selves.” Love this sentence! Thanks Kenny!

[Pookyma] : Heheh!! Chill chill pooky! Can see u drooling!
[Allenooi] : If i write longer you all no need to sleep lor! Throw me in the court and I’ll be the best lawyer to push the tattoo to be a permanent MUST-HAVE LAW! Don’t look down on me bro!

Well, you could look for him at Tribal Bodyworks Tattoo Studio at Sungei Wang Plaza Lot F028, 1st Floor. He’s one of the tattoo artist in this shop.
So many ideas are triggered by your post. Thanks for the info.
for me
I agree, people shouldn’t judge others. I know a lot of really nice people with tattoo’s, in fact,
I have a tattoo. I also have a college degree, a manager at a large facility, ride horses and honor my mom and dad. I don’t see what the ink on my skin has to do with other aspects of
my life. I just like doing things that people of my nature wouldn’t.
Have a great new year, by the way, very nice tattoo.
peace out
(see there, I bet you thought I was a tree hugger. Not)
I was just browsing google to find a design for another tattoo when I saw this one! I have the exact same tattoo on my forearm.
The cross like symbol is actually the Egyptian symbol for life.
Tattoos are an art. I believe in getting tattoos that mean something to the person receiving them. NO ONE should be judged for having a tattoo. I understand tattoos aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but they’re an expression of a person’s being. Besides, we only live life once…may as well enjoy it.
I have two tattoos – both have meaning to me.
The one on my forearm (same as in above photos) represents love and life – as a bonus, in Greek, my name means life.
I also have an angel praying on my back, representing my Guardian Angel watching over me.
So to those people don’t have an open mind, and don’t see the beauty and meaning in tattoos – keep trying! Hey…if my grandmother could see it, you can too!
Peace out!
wow, the tattoo look so cool, your friend have a great taste…
